What will my child be judged on? What are the judges looking for?
A panel of three judges will be on-hand to meet each child at the Cutie Casting Call. Judges will be looking for personality, likeability, commercial potential, and cuteness, and rating each on a scale of 1 to 10. Your child will also have a photograph taken for the online portion of the event.
What should my child wear?
Bright, solid colors are usually best for the head shots we will be taking. Please avoid any busy patterns, like plaid or polka dots, distracting images, or clothing with licensed characters, logos, phrases, trade names, or similar items or images on them.
How will my child’s photo be taken?
Each child will have his or her photo taken by an amateur photographer. The photographer will take only basic head shots of participating children.
Will I get to keep a copy of my child’s photo?
Photos are not available for immediate viewing, and you will not receive your child’s photo on the day of the event. You can view the photo online during the voting period.
I am a Florida Hospital employee. Can I enter my child?
Yes, as long as your child who meets the requirements in the Contest Rules and is in one of the age categories for the event.
How many children will you see?
We will see as many cuties as possible during the event. We will see everyone on a first-come, first-served basis. The line may be cut prior to the end of the event to ensure everyone in line is able to be seen before the end of the day.
How many Cuties will be chosen?
The judges will pick two Cuties per category. There will also be one People’s Choice Award winner, for a total of seven Florida Children’s Hospital Cuties.
How will the Cuties be announced?
We will call the Cuties’ parents or guardians by April 21and invite them to a celebration to take place at Florida Children’s Hospital on April 23.
What will the Cuties receive?
The Florida Children’s Hospital Cuties may be featured in Florida Children’s Hospital marketing, ads, or events. Please see the Contest Rules and Event Description for more details.
Will child care be available at the event?
No, child care will not available at the event. You are responsible for your child AT ALL TIMES while attending the Cutie Casting Call. There will be many other children and parents at this event, so please make sure to watch your children very closely and never let them wander away alone.
My child was selected as a Cutie at last year's Cutie Casting Call. Can I enter him/her again?
No, to be fair to everyone and to give others a chance to be chosen as Florida Hospital Cuties, previous Florida Children’s Hospital Cuties are ineligible to participate in the Casting Call again. |
